Here's where Leland spends most of his time now, in the basement playing the Wii. We're dog sitting for our neighbors this week. We've learned that Sadie is quite the jealous dog. If we give any attention to Jezebel she cannot stand it and tries to interrupt it immediately! Crazy dog. They end up playing so hard together most of the day, they both just crash later at the same time.

New Stuff and News
Last weekend we restained and sealed our deck just in time for our new patio furniture to arrive. We really love being outside when the weather is nice so now we have a place to sit and I plan on eating and reading and entertaining out here more too! Sadie had her little friend, Jezebel, come over the other day for a play date. Our neighbors had company and their puppy was driving them crazy, so they dropped her off in our backyard for a while to wear off some of that energy! They're so cute together! When I went in the backyard to play with them, Jezebel kept jumping on me and everytime she did Sadie would growl at her and plow her in the ground. She didn't like Jezebel jumping on me. But it was all friendly play.
Last night we were invited out to a couple's house from our church. They are so nice and we had dinner with them and played cards. They are little older than our parents age, but they are a lot of fun. They taught us how to play Hand and Foot. It was fun! Leland and I are going to practice at home so we can whoop them next time. They said a lot of times they'll have several couples (all ages) over and have card game tournaments. Anyway, we had a good time.
Everything else is going good. My job is going okay. It's not my dream job and I am working for a corporate dental company which is not really my thing. I won't bore you with details but I really don't agree with their philosophy and we have management breathing down our necks right now because our office is not producing enough money so they basically told my doctor that if he doesn't produce a certain amount by the end of June then they're letting him go and bringing a new doctor in the office. We basically have to produce $20,000 more than we normally do in a month. I don't see that happening, so I'm not sure how this will all play out. I think most of the girls I work with have all said that they will probably not stay if he has to leave, so I'm not really sure what is going to happen. I just hope for his sake that he doesn't lose his job. I'll keep you posted.
Leland's job is still going really well. They just brought on a new customer which is a big deal because it means he will be generating more money for his district. So tomorrow he's flying their new customers in their corporate jet to give them a tour of their factory in Iowa and then to Dallas to give them a tour of their headquarters there-to kind of introduce them the all of what Lennox is about and meet some of the head haunchos, etc. There's still the stresses he has to deal with of managing people but it's all good experience for him and that's why we're here, so he can move up the ladder at Lennox and come back to Dallas!! I have enjoyed it here, but I miss home. I think Leland doesn't miss Dallas so much because of the traffic, congestion, etc, but we do miss being so close to friends and family...........and warmer weather! Okay, I've rambled more than usual, so I better go.Happy Mother's Day if you're reading this and you're a momma!! May God bless you as you train up your children in the ways they should go! :)
