Happy 1/2 Year Old Kate!

Kate is 6 Months old today! Time flies when you're having fun! She had her 6 month check-up today. Our little petite baby.....she weighs 15lbs 13oz (50th percentile) 26 inches long (50th) and her head is in the 30th percentile. She's a healthy girl thank the Lord!

Kate's "firsts" for this month:

-eating fruits and veggies with her cereal. So far her favorites seem to be sweet potatoes, pears, and prunes. Not a big fan of green beans.

-sitting up all by herself

-rolling over both ways

-jabbering and laughing a lot

-first road trip to Texas (10 hour drive!)

-first time in a swimming pool-she hated it!

Memorial Week Vacation

Last week we went to Texas and got to visit with all of our family and friends. It was so fun seeing everyone. We had a great time, however I think we were all ready to get back home and get back into our routine. Poor Kate was totally off her schedule and was really tired. She was a champ on the 10 hour road trip both ways! We were so proud of her. She never fussed once! Yea! It was so great to see all of our family and friends. We managed to see everyone on this trip so that was nice and Kate got to meet a lot of people for the first time.
