May Fun

Here's just a few things that's been going on in the Well's household this May. I can't believe summer is right around the corner. My favorite time of year!!!

Kate has been having major bed head in the mornings. So cute!

This next picture is a picture of the first playdate our group had exactly one year ago.........

And here are the little rascals one year later......not nearly as cooperative for the camera!

Kate trying to put her daddy's size 11 shoes on

Playing outside-Kate's favorite time of day. In this picture it's hard to see, but she's showing us her grumpy face. Not sure why she was making this face, but this is her new thing now when she doesn't get her way.

Much happier here!

Preggers at 22 weeks (I'm almost 24 weeks now so I'm a little behind on my posting)

Kate's first swim lessons. She is doing great and loves the water. Honestly, we're paying for her to basically "get used to the water." I could do that on my own. Oh, well. Now I know.
Waving at Daddy

Trying to teach her to kick her feet

Again, playing outside

Playing in a corner in her own little world. I love watching her play and wondering what she's thinking or pretending to be doing....so fun!

It's Really Happening!

I'm so pumped and proud of my hubby! We are moving back to Texas! We've been here in St. Louis for 2 1/2 years and though we've enjoyed living here and love many things about it, made wonderful friends and found a church that we absolutely love....we have been praying that the Lord would open up an opportunity for us to move back home. Especially now that we are expecting another baby. It wasn't looking so good as Leland's company just didn't have any potential jobs becoming available in the future that would get us back home. Well, out of the blue one day Leland gets a call about a job opening that just came up because someone resigned from this position. It's on the operation/purchasing/sourcing side of Lennox which Leland did before he moved over to sales. So he was a perfect fit because he's had so much experience in this area. Basically, they interviewed 12 people over the phone and only picked Leland and another guy to come in for formal interviews. Poor guy.....he had 7 people interview him all day, but he did great and I'm so proud of him. We got a call a few days later saying they'd love to have him and offered him the job!!!! We're going home! His job title will be Director of Purchasing. (I'm not a corporate person, but apparently Leland is very young to be at a director's level. This is a big promotion for him so it makes it that much more of a blessing! Sorry I had to brag on him a little). This was such an answered prayer and I want to give God all the praise and glory because he has been so merciful and gracious to us and we feel so blessed that He opened up this door for us! If it wasn't for this man resigning and the job opening up, we would probably have been here for at least another year.
So, now we are waiting to hear from the relocation company that takes care of our move. We need to get set up with a realtor and get the house on the market. Our plan regardless of whether we've sold this house yet or not, is we are going to start looking for a home in Dallas the beginning of July since I'm due in September and would like to get setttled somewhere before I get too huge! We are thinking we'll end up in Plano or Frisco again. We are so excited to be closer to our friends and family! Please pray we can sell our house quickly and not take a big hit on it with this economy.

Until next time!

Ladies Spring Tea

Our church, Hope Bible Church, has 2 Ladies Tea events twice a year and somehow I got talked into being on the committee this year with 2 other women. Ha! So, last night was our Spring Ladies' Tea. It was a lot of fun and everything turned out great. I am glad it's over though! It has been a lot of planning and work! We do another one around Christmas time. Basically, we find a speaker to come speak and come up with a theme and go from there. We planned food, games, decorations, songs to sing, prizes.....that sort of thing. It 's just a time of fellowship for the ladies at our church and alot of people brings guests. Our speaker was a former missionary in Columbia and she told us her story of a time when her and her family along with some other families were taken captive by some terrorists.....they were going to take her husband but because she was 8 months pregnant, they decided to let him go. The bad part was they took another man with their group and killed him along with another man. Her story was amazing! Now she is a teacher and has a women's prison ministry. I think everyone enjoyed hearing her story. Our theme was "On Butterfly Wings". I did most of the decorating, which is so not my thing, but it turned out really nice. I also did the centerpieces and they also were the prizes for the winners of the 2 games we played. Anyway, it was fun. Here's just a few pictures from the night!
