Cousins

We watch my neice Pierce the other night so her mommy and daddy could get a break and go out to dinner. The girls had so much fun just playing together. They watched Kate for us last Saturday so Leland and I could go furniture shopping and out to dinner. It's nice having family to trade off date nights with! Pierce is my younger brother's daughter. Isn't she beautiful? Well, here's some great pictures I got of them. Enjoy!

They just loved holding Morgan and thought it was so fun as you can see from the photos.

Morgan thougth it was fun too!

Little mommies

I had to post this one because Morgan was smiling so big

Aren't they cute together? I hope these 3 girls will be close growing up.

The Girls

Not too much exciting to write about....just posting some recent pictures I've taken of the girls lately. Here's a couple of them together. I can't wait to watch them grow up together. I hope they will become the best of friends!

Kate turned 22 months this month. I can't believe my baby is going to be 2 years old soon! She's such a big girl now. She knows alot of her animal sounds, she's repeating a lot of what we say (uh-oh-better watch our mouths), she's such a happy girl and loves her little sis.

Morgan turns 7 weeks tomorrow! I can't believe she's almost 2 months already! She's such a blessing to our family. She definitely is a little more high maintenace than Kate was at this age....she likes to be held up so she can see and hates laying back. She's pretty stubborn aobut sleeping in her own bed. Some nights I just give in and put her in bed with us so I can sleep. By this time, Kate was already sleeping a 6 hour strech at night and with Morgan we're doing great with a 4-5 hour stretch. But she is smiling at us and it makes my heart melt.

Daddy's little girl

Kate being silly one day wanting to wear this bonnet hat that was in a drawer.

Reading my Bible study notes to her sissy

Kate loves to sit up on the counter when Morgan is in her bouncer and talk and play with her. She really does like having a sister...it will only get better as Morgan gets older. I love my sweet girls!

What's going On

What's going on is I've been a busy momma! Here's a few pictures from September

Kate helping sweep the driveway

Morgan loves being outside

My girls with their grandmas (Taseen and Nini)

Morgan's first bath. She loved it unlike her sister

These next 2 picutres show how much my girls look alike. Below is a picture of Morgan at 5 weeks old

And here is Kate at 1 week old. It's scary how much they resemble each other at this stage. I'm going to have a hard time figuring out who is who when looking back at their newborn pictures. I'll be curious to see if Morgan ends up looking a lot like Kate.

Life has been a little hectic lately since we have had Morgan....hence the reason I am just now updating our blog again. Normally I am typing with one hand these days with a kid in my other hand, but I somehow managed to get both girls down for a nap at the same time and I can use both hands now. Yay!

I love being a mom of 2 girls but it sure does take a lot out of you! I am doing laundry almost daily now when before I was doing it once a week. I don't have time for internet or TV anymore and if I do, it's because I'm ignoring the cleaning I need to be doing or the nap I should be taking. But I wouldn't change a thing. The girls are so cute together. Kate constantly wants to hold her "sissy" and she wants to come see her first thing in the morning when she gets out of bed. She says "Hi baby" in a real high pitch voice like she's baby talking to her.....so precious! She tells me when "baby cry" or "baby eat" when she sees me feeding her. So far, she hasn't shown too much jealousy. She sometimes wants me to hold her when I'm holding the baby but if I tell her I'll hold her hand that usually satisfies her. Honestly I thought I would be spending more time with Morgan once we had her, but I feel like I'm dealing with Kate more and putting Morgan off to the side....poor thing. It is a little hard to give them equal attention right now, but we'll get he hang of it.
